Seminar-stype study of the historical, political, cultural and theological context in which the New Testament and other early Christian writings were written. Through a variety of activities (e.g., readings from primary sources, readings from secondary sources, discussions, presentations, research papers and interpretative assignments) students will explore the world of the early Christian writings.
