Supervised Teaching Experience is a practicum experience that parallels Supervised Ministry Experience, but is oriented towards teaching in an academic setting. Students have a mentor/supervisor at their practicum site. In the STE course, students reflect on their practicum experience and on the feedback they receive from their practicum supervisor. This course is likely to be in a directed studies format unless there are a sufficient number of students to warrant a full class. The SME director makes the final decision on whether students should be enrolled in STE or SME.
